About the Opportunity
PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To assist in the delivery of a digital fact-checking platform -- FactCheckNI http://factcheckni.org -- in order to have a better-informed public in regards to the political debate in Northern Ireland, based on facts rather than assumptions and misinformation.

Fact Checkers will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, focused and self-driven, supporting the project partners -- the Northern Ireland Foundation and Transformative Connections.

We require individuals who can identify where our efforts will encourage greater public awareness and better civic discourse across several chosen topics, by producing high-quality copy to tight deadlines.

FactCheckNI is part of a global network of fact-checking organisations, and this is an excellent opportunity to learn from international best practices. Full training will be provided.
