About the Opportunity | Do you want to be part of something Big? Following the success of previous years Big Wild Sleepout we are looking for a team of volunteers for the event for 2018
We want to bring people closer to nature and are offering another night at The Ulster Folk Park at Cultra on Saturday 21st July. To build on last years success we need enthusiastic volunteers to be part of a team who will be involved in promoting the event, organising the activities for the event and get involved in the actual running of the events on the night.
This role will suit someone who likes to work in a team. You will have the chance to do what you do best as we need a variety of different skills to deliver a top quality event. It's also a great opportunity to make a real difference to the work of the RSPB by encouraging more people to attend and support the event.
You'll need to have the confidence to strike up conversations with strangers, a desire to help, an enthusiasm for wildlife and conservation, but most important of all, you'll need a friendly demeanor and a ready smile, coupled with boundless energy. Whatever your skills we can put them to use.
All team members will be expected to attend short briefing sessions prior to the events when appropriate training will be provided and expenses re-imbursed where necessary. The RSPB relies on the support and generosity of volunteers to make a difference. |
