About the Opportunity
It's that Bouncy time of year again: everything is set for a Belfast week of wonderful, accessible work by disabled artists.

We need helpers to make Bounce! Arts Festival run smoothly.

• Volunteers get local travel/mileage and meal costs covered.
• All helpers get a free ticket to events they cover and to two others of their choice.
• Past Bounce! helpers have gone on to become ADF project workers or long term volunteers.

What to do now

1. Read the roles and pick those that match your personality and skills.
2. Answer the short fact gathering questions
3. Email the information to before 3pm Friday 15th September
Do not worry about spelling or writing beautiful sentences. We just need a few facts so we can match people to roles based on experience, skills and availability.

Thank you

1. Gallery invigilators
Wednesday 27th to Friday 5th October, shifts 11am to 4pm. ADF, Royal Avenue, Belfast.
We need people who are reliable and honest, have relevant experience/knowledge of visual arts, and are able to answer the phone and deal with queries in the gallery.

2. Stewards
To represent ADF, collect money, direct people and keep them safe
Wednesday 27th September, shifts 11am to 3pm
We need people who can work outdoors with the public in noisy settings and who will wear our 'Piss on Pity’ t-shirts. Experience supervising children is helpful.

3. Evaluators
To encourage and enable audiences and participants to fill in feedback sheets.
Thursday 28th September to Friday 5th October, 11am to 10pm, shifts across all events.
We need good communicators with a methodical approach, to persuade people to fill in a sheet. The sheets are based on smiley faces and need moderate reading ability. Helpers with skills to enable deaf or blind audiences to feedback are also needed.

4. Artists' Support
To ensure performers or workshop leaders have what they need and feel welcome
Thursday 28th September to Friday 5th October, 11am to 10pm, shifts across all events.
We need people who can welcome artists; be on call to sort out anything the artists need; help them find their way in Belfast; introduce them to people as needed; and ensure they enjoy Bounce!

5. Audience Support
To meet, greet and assist people so that everyone can enjoy Bounce!
Thursday 28th September to Friday 5th October, 11am to 10pm, shifts across all events.
With a disability diverse audience we need volunteers with the people skills and experience to meet people from bus stops, help them buy tickets, book taxis, move around the venues and more.

6. Movers and drivers
To help lift props or equipment or drive people or items between locations in Belfast
Wednesday 27th September to Friday 5th October, 11am to 10pm, shifts across all events.
We need people with the strength and safety awareness to help move stuff. We also need people who have their own car and can be available to shift bulky items.

7. Publicity Distributors
To get news out about the festival by distributing flyers and posters and telling others
Friday 22nd September to Friday 5th October, Belfast.
We need people who can distribute leaflets or posters, or can talk to groups (there are discounts for group bookings), or put Bounce! articles in their newsletters. We’ll supply the words and info.
