Bluesberry Festival Film Making Team

About the Opportunity
The film making team will capture the spirit of the Bluesberry Festival Youth Events, 25-30 May 2017. At the centre of the musical events, activities and workshops you will, through the power of the moving image, illustrate the atmosphere of the festival and support the long lasting images which will remain. This role offers volunteers the chance to use their skills at a global event and have their film recognised.

Tasks will include:
• Filming volunteers in action and capturing the spirit of the festival
• Filming musicians, artists, performers and facilitators at venues, for example music venues, restaurants, parks
• Edit and create short promotional films for the festivals website, social media outlets and future promotional material

Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Good camera and video editing skills
• Access to a digital video camera
• Preferably previous experience of covering events through video

Possible Challenges:
• Availability to volunteer after event ends
• Volunteering across a variety of venues
• Dealing with potential adverse weather conditions
