Bluesberry Festival Finance and Admin Volunteer

About the Opportunity
The budget support volunteer will keep up to date records of all expenditure associated with the youth events within the Blues on the Bay Festival which takes place 25-30 May 2017. The volunteer will work closely with the Event Manager and the Activities Coordinator.

Tasks will include:
• Record keeping of all expenses incurred during the festival such as equipment rental, venue booking, artists and facilitators fees, publicity, etc
• Report back to the festival organisers
• Identify opportunities for fundraising
• Assisting the events management team with administrative duties

Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Good numeracy / admin skills
• Good people / communication skills
Previous experience managing budgets is desirable but not essential

Possible Challenges:
• Availability to volunteer prior to and after event start
• Periodic increases in workload
