About the Opportunity
As many people know the International North West 200 is supported by an 800 plus team of experienced volunteers. Some work on an annual basis, others during race week itself, with many volunteers coming from other bodies such as St. John’s Ambulance, British Red Cross and Raynet radio communications. The role of the volunteer at the NW200 has also widened into areas such as event planning and the opportunities for anyone wishing to lend their skills as well as learn new ones has increased. NW200 work closely with Volunteer Now, the University of Ulster and local groups to develop its volunteer structure and are seeking new volunteers to come on board and get involved with the event.
There are a range of roles, such as;

- Marshals / Flag Marshals
- Administration Staff
- Health & Safety Staff
- Event Coordination Personnel
- Course Set Up/Build Personnel
- Hospitality Hosts
- Event Survey & Marketing Personnel
Anyone who is over 18 and is reasonably fit can become part of the team. No previous experiences or skills are necessary and you will be able to access full training. The team would also be keen to talk to those who have specific skills in relation to large scale events who want to take this opportunity on board.

If you would like to Volunteer and be part of the NW200, then please email our volunteer coordinator Cathal Cunning cathal@northwest200.org or info@northwest200.org
